Hodges, Ronald W. The Moths of America North of Mexico Fascicle 7.6 Gelechioidea: Gelechiidae (Part) Chionodes 1999. Many new species and about 150 records from California were added. Entered April 2, 2000.

Chionodes records from California used in the preparation of MONA fascicle 7.6. 4200 records sent by John DeBenedictis, from which about 250 were added to the master list, which were either not cited in the fascicle as they were known species or were present in incomplete form in the fascicle, as for instance in the genitalia section. Entered April 8, 2000. Many species information accounts added information to the list of UC Berkeley reared lepidoptera sent earlier by Jerry Powell.

Hardwick, D.F., "A Synopsis of the Albipennis-Lillooet-Declarata Series of the Genus Euxoa (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) With Descriptions of a N ew Species and a New Subspecies". The Canadian Entomologist 105 (1973) ppg 493-500. Five new records of type series of Euxoa declarata californica, a subspecies synonomized into declarata by Lafontaine in MONA. Entered September 2, 2000.

Hardwick, D.F., and L.P. Lefkovitch. "Species Separation in the declarata Group of the Genus Euxoa, a Computer Analysis Based on Structural Characters". The Canadian Entomologist 105 (1973) ppg 501-508. Eliminated two records of Euxoa campestris, which according to this does not fly near California. Records must have been either declarata or rockburnei, and were eliminated. Records deleted September 2, 2000.
