Chionodes records from California used in the preparation of MONA fascicle 7.6. 4200 records sent by John DeBenedictis, from which about 250 were added to the master list, which were either not cited in the fascicle as they were known species or were present in incomplete form in the fascicle, as for instance in the genitalia section. Hardwick, D.F., and L.P. Lefkovitch. "Species Separation in the declarata Group of the Genus Euxoa, a Computer Analysis Based on Structural Characters". The Canadian Entomologist 105 (1973) ppg 501-508. Eliminated two records of Euxoa campestris, which according to this does not fly near California. Records must have been either declarata or rockburnei, and were eliminated. Records deleted September 2, 2000.
